Slippages in Time is a strange phenomena.. It is kind of like time travel, but not of your own will. Time slips are thought to be a "perceived fold or bridge in time that brings the present in contact with another time". Time slips can bring people in contact with most commonly the past, but there have been some accounts of "visits" to the future. The incidents seem to be brief in duration and occur and dissipate without warning or explanation. Sometimes the timeslip seems just to be a vision, as if you are just viewing new (perhaps ancient) surroundings. Other times it seems that the person is actually within the time itself (actually part of the scene.
Time slips are perhaps also a way of explaining ghosts. From Ghosthelp.com, "Occasionally we will encounter some sort of apparition, cloudy mist, Sounds, and Transparent type shadows, This type of Haunting has been documented for many years, What may be occurring is actually from the past, Another time in life slipping into our time. The ingredients for this to happen are of large proportion, Yet to be discovered."
